Soil Series Extent Mapping - In the proof-of-concept stage

The objective of this project is to provide publicly accessible National maps of individual soil series extent based on the land area of series mapped in the SSURGO 2.1 data source as provided by the Soil Data Mart and classified according to the content of the Soil Classification File and Official Soil Series Descriptions. The basic unit shown on the map will be a soil survey area or county.
